Today is a long day as it is about 19 miles to Dover. The weather is fair and I make good progress only stopping for refreshment at the Chance Inn close to Dover.

Walking out of Canterbury I am puzzled that many of the Via Francigena signs have broken, and all in the bottom right hand quadrant. It takes me a while to understand that somneone has cut out the EU yellow stars on the blue background.
