Day TEN: Dover

Due to accommodation changes I have an unplanned bonus day in Dover and use to to walk along the cliffs towards Folkstone on the arm of the North Downs Way I had not taken. Like many my mental picture before visiting was of a ferry terminal. Of course it is a ferry terminal as it is close to mainland Europe and this point of geography also made it a great place for other countries to attack Britain.
